I’ve owned this waffle maker for about 4 years and I use it almost weekly. I’ve enjoyed it very much and always had good results until recently. I’ve always used the top heat setting – 7 – for crispy exteriors, but it’s become too hot and burns the non-stick spray I use to prep the surface. The timer has also stopped working, making doneness a guessing game. I still give the product 4 stars becuase it did perform like a pro for 4 years.

I am extremely happy with the VillaWare Waffle Maker. The kids love the animal shapes! The waffler browns the waffle evenly, it is easy to clean and store. I actually bought 3 of these, one for myself, the other 2 for other family members.

This item was adorable and my daughter loved the idea, however, the iron’s performace was weak. The shape turned out okay, but the top part of the iron doesn’t cook the waffle completely no matter how many times you put the lid back down and the chirping sound it makes when it thinks the waffle is done gets annoying fast.
